Our ambition is to bolster Ireland's construction industry by addressing the skills gap and attracting new talent. In alignment with the government's Housing for All strategy, the programme plays a pivotal role in increasing the number of construction apprentices across the residential sector.

Cairn is investing €10M over next 5 years to the Cairn Apprenticeship Programme to support our supply chain and broader industry through specific initiatives, which will help to retain current apprentices and remove barriers to growth of the industry talent pipeline. This programme offers tutoring, educational programs, financial support, and engages with educational institutions to encourage careers in construction.

The Cairn Apprenticeship Programme offers apprentices the chance to immerse themselves in some of Ireland's most innovative residential construction projects. Learn at the cutting-edge of construction, from Passive Standard housing at scale to Ireland's newest and most sustainable new town.
